Fire Risk Assessor - South/South East Region

Job Summary
Fire Risk Assessor responsible for planning, scheduling and delivering life safety FRAs across the Defence estate, travelling 2-3 days per week in the South/South East Region (vehicle provided) with the remainder home-based; use MS Office and internal systems to forecast, plan and manage the FRA programme; engage with Defence Heads of Establishment; apply fire safety legislation and Defence policy to deliver FRAs and fire safety advice; manage workload to meet monthly targets and timely customer delivery; travel to Defence sites, conduct face-to-face briefings on key findings, and write-up outputs for customers.
Required Qualifications
- Level 4 Certificate in Fire Safety (Examples include SFJ Level 4 Certificate (Fire Auditors or Fire Risk Assessors), FireQual Level 4 Certificate, ABBE Level 4 Diploma)
- Competent IT user
- Practical experience of fire risk assessments
- Good communicator, face-to-face and via email/report writing
- Well organised, able to plan and manage your own workload without close supervision
