Job Summary
Inspect, repair, test, adjust, and remove fire protection sprinkler systems while installing pipe, valves, couplings, and fittings on various new construction job sites. Cut, thread, and hang pipe using power and hand tools, and assist in lifting and securing materials. Follow pre-established guidelines and company policies to perform duties with minimal supervision, adhering to all safety standards. This role requires a minimum of six months of construction or fire protection experience and the ability to multi-task across multiple sites. You will work in varying temperatures, including inclement weather, and may be exposed to noise, fumes, or confined spaces. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs and working aloft. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months construction or fire protection/sprinkler experience; or equivalent combination of vocational training and experience
- Knowledge of basic tools and materials
- Understands and practices the proper use of power and hand tools
- Possesses basic math and computation skills
- Must be able to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, follow written and oral instructions, show attention to detail, and demonstrate problem-solving skills
- Must adhere to all company policy and procedures
- Must be available, and have the means to report to multiple job sites as assigned
- Must be able to correctly identify all colors of a color-coded cable/wires and see close vision, distance vision, depth perception, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Desired Qualifications
- Sprinkler experience in a construction industry
- Ridgid 300 power machine (cutting and threading pipe) experience
- Prior military experience
- HS diploma or GED equivalent
