Job Summary
As a Fire Protection Project Engineer at Wiley|Wilson, you will provide technical leadership in designing and analyzing active and passive fire protection systems. Key responsibilities include applying project experience for fire alarm and fire suppression systems, performing code analyses, creating design deliverables, and ensuring high standards of quality. You will collaborate with senior engineers and mentor junior engineers while traveling to project locations to gather site-specific information. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, at least six years of experience in fire protection engineering, and possession of a professional engineer license.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited program
- Minimum 6 years of experience in the fire protection engineering industry
- Registered professional engineer (P.E.) who has passed the NCEES-administered fire protection engineering exam
- Eligible to work in the United States and obtain a security clearance
