Fire Protection / Plumbing Engineer - Critical Facilities

Job Summary
Design Plumbing and Fire Protection systems in mission critical facilities (e.g., data centers) including cold/hot water, potable/non-potable water, drainage, pumping systems, natural gas distribution, fire suppression, sprinkler piping with hydraulic calculations, incipient fire detection, and related systems. Produce and review drawings and specifications using Revit and AutoCAD; perform load calculations and system design with company/software; coordinate with architectural, electrical, controls, and other disciplines; conduct field surveys, site observations, and QA/QC; participate in client meetings, value analysis, and basic cost estimating; develop standards and specifications for plumbing and fire protection; travel to client sites as needed to support project requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Fire Protection / Plumbing engineering
- 5+ years’ experience or more of plumbing design and fire protection systems
