Job Summary
Prepare design documents for fire suppression, smoke control, and fire detection systems while adhering to governing codes and standards. Incorporate industry practices and office standards to produce drawings, specifications, reports, condition assessments, Life Safety Analyses, cost estimates, and similar products. Provide quality control reviews of life safety designs and conduct field surveys, hazard analyses, and load assessments. Utilize software including CONTAM, Trane/Trace, Carrier/HAP, Microsoft Office, CADD, and BIM/Revit. Requires a BS in Fire Protection Engineering with 5+ years of experience.
