Job Summary
Senior Fire Protection Engineer to lead design and execution of fire protection and life safety systems for hyperscale data centers and secure facilities; serves as the primary technical resource and client liaison; collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated fire protection solutions meeting NFPA/IBC/IFC/UFC standards; coordinates with mechanical, electrical, structural, architectural, and security teams; supports proposal development, scope definition, scheduling, and technical coordination; provides mentorship to junior engineers and drives knowledge sharing; travels occasionally to project sites and office locations; remote role with strong client interaction and career growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering discipline
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required with Fire Protection Engineer (FPE) designation strongly preferred
- 5+ years of experience in fire protection engineering with experience supporting mission-critical, hyperscale data center, government, or secure facility projects preferred
- Strong knowledge of NFPA standards, IBC, IFC, UFC requirements, and fire protection system design tools such as Revit, AutoSPRINK, HydraCAD, or similar platforms required
