Job Summary
Entry-level Fire Protection Engineer needed to join Coffman Engineers in Honolulu. The role supports designing a variety of local projects, collaborating with civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and corrosion-control disciplines, and contributing to an integrated team focused on client objectives. Candidates should have a BS in engineering (Fire Protection degree welcomed but not required), 0–3 years of experience, familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit (preferred), and strong written/verbal communication skills. The position emphasizes professional growth within a multi-disciplinary engineering environment and a culture that values collaboration and high performance. Salary range is $80,000–$95,000 annually; sponsorship is not available. Office location: Honolulu, HI (in-person).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in engineering from accredited college or university
- Fire Protection specific degree desired but not required
- 0 to 3 years of professional experience
- Experience with AutoCAD and Revit (preferred)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
