Job Summary
Fire Protection Construction Manager on a semiconductor fab project leads the fire protection and plumbing scope, coordinates with GC/owner/design team/subcontractors, manages subcontracts and change orders, reviews submittals and RFI information, develops and publishes meeting minutes, supports procurement, and ensures alignment with project schedule and critical-path requirements. The role requires knowledge of fire protection and plumbing installations, ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications, and leadership in coordinating multidisciplinary teams; candidates should be comfortable with budget/schedule control, resource leveling, startup/commissioning activities, and training owner staff in operations and maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Construction Management or equivalent degree
- Knowledgeable with fire protection and plumbing installations
- Experience organizing and reviewing detailed technical data
- Familiar with WBS breakdown and masterformat system for fire suppression and plumbing scopes of work (Div. 21 & 22)
- Ability to work with trades in the field
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Proficient in Google Docs, Microsoft Office; experience with Suretrack Project Manager, Primavera P6; Procore, BIM, Cx Alloy, Bluebeam
