Job Summary
Lead complex fire alarm, security, and communications installation projects in commercial, educational, healthcare, industrial, and military facilities. Responsible for setup of local project offices, project scope definition, risk identification, project methodology, resource allocation, and facilitation. Manages schedule, cost, safety, quality, and customer satisfaction; presents updates to management and customers; ensures projects close on time and in scope. Coordinates and communicates project progression from inception to completion (design, permits, material delivery, labor schedules, field installation); develops comprehensive project plans to meet schedules and budgets; conducts Work in Progress meetings. Follows published codes, AHJ requirements, and SOX procedures; coordinates change orders and works toward margin improvement on every job. Available for frequent local travel.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certificate or diploma in Fire & Life Safety, Electrical/Electronic; Security
- Certification in Fire Alarm Systems preferred
- 5 years’ installation experience in Fire, Electrical, or Security systems
- PMP certification to be obtained within 2 years
- NICET Level II to be obtained within 1 year
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Project) with ability to create spreadsheets/macros
- Available for frequent local travel
