Job Summary
Conduct hydraulic and fire service system design and modeling for the Suburban Rail Loop East infrastructure project. Perform conventional hydraulic design, plan schedules, and independently evaluate engineering techniques while adapting to problems encountered. Produce drawings and models with minimal supervision, utilizing Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and ACC tools. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless delivery of tunnel fit-outs, civil works, and safety assurance across the corridor. This role supports the Alliance's delivery of 26km of twin underground tunnels and six new stations between Cheltenham and Box Hill.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in hydraulic and/or fire modelling or a similar role in the building services industry
- Proficiency in Revit MEP and AutoCAD
- Strong understanding of hydraulic systems and relevant Australian codes and standards
- Ability to produce drawings/models with minimal supervision
- Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with Navisworks, ACC, and Revizto
- Knowledge of PDF software tools such as Bluebeam or PDF Exchange
