Job Summary
Perform testing, inspection, service, and maintenance of fire and life safety systems in a heavy industrial environment. Tasks include testing and inspecting fire extinguishers, exit and emergency lighting, eyewash stations, and special hazard systems; complete accurate inspection reports detailing deficiencies and corrective actions; coordinate with the Inspection Coordinator to ensure work aligns with scope and schedule; maintain positive customer relationships and review inspection and service results with customers. Ensure all work complies with NFPA standards, company procedures, and applicable codes; stay current on NFPA requirements and code updates; maintain company equipment, tools, supplies, and vehicle as assigned; process work orders and complete required documentation accurately and on time. Be available for overtime, nights, and weekends as needed. Stay proactive in safety and quality throughout daily duties.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record meeting company requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize work, and manage time effectively
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Proficiency with Windows-based software and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexible, action-oriented, and customer-focused mindset
- Ability to work a full-time schedule
