Job Summary
Conduct on-site inspections of commercial kitchens to assess client needs, inspect exhaust systems, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Develop custom service proposals with cost estimates and timelines, then deliver presentations to showcase fire and life safety solutions. Build strong relationships with stakeholders while prospecting for new business opportunities and meeting sales targets. Act as a trusted advisor to recommend tailored solutions and drive growth through warm inbound leads and direct outreach.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B sales
- Comfortable working in commercial kitchen environments (grease, heat, rooftop access)
- Attention to detail in conducting and documenting inspections, preparing reports, and recommending solutions
- Ability to convey technical information clearly and understandably to clients
- Ability to contribute positively to a team-oriented work environment
- Self-starter with the ability to manage your own schedule and pipeline
- CRM experience (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and basic photo documentation tools
- Detail-oriented with good time management
- Strong verbal communication and negotiation skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work comfortably at heights and on rooftops
- Physically fit, capable of lifting 40+ pounds and using A-frame ladders
- Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in commercial facility services, fire/life safety, or industrial cleaning
- Familiarity with fire code compliance, hood systems, or kitchen ventilation
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Safety, or related field (preferred but not required)
- Experience with restaurants, facilities, or services
