Job Summary

Conduct preflight inspections of aircraft prior to shifts and operate helicopters safely in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations, the Rotorcraft Flight Manual, and all state and municipal rules. Manage weather forecasts and ensure shift readiness while maintaining current operational knowledge. Requires 2000 total flight hours, 1500 helicopter hours, and 1000 pilot-in-command hours. Offers 15K sign-on and 40K retention bonuses after three years, plus on-duty housing. Global Medical Response delivers emergency and patient relocation services worldwide, supporting end-to-end medical transportation and disaster response.

Required Qualifications

  • Ensures all operations involving Company aircraft are in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations, Air Evac EMS Operations Manual, and all state and municipal regulations
  • Operates the aircraft in a safe and efficient manner, with emphasis on compliance with the Rotorcraft Flight Manual
  • Conducts preflight of the aircraft prior to starting shift and/or accepting transports or flights
  • Reports to his/her shift rested and prepared for duty
  • Stays current of weather and forecast changes
  • 2000 hours total flight time
  • 1500 hours helicopter time
  • 1000 hours helicopter pilot in command
  • 500 hours turbine
  • 100 hours night unaided, or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided
  • Rotorcraft-Helicopter Commercial Certificate
  • Rotorcraft-Helicopter Instrument Rating
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Upload your Pilot License and FAA Medical Certificate

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous HAA experience or equivalent
