Job Summary
The Fire Extinguisher Technician performs scheduled or unscheduled maintenance on fire extinguishers in residential and commercial spaces, including inspection, repair, filling, tagging, service and testing, and completion of inspection reports. Requires FEL-A, FEL-B, or FEL-K licensing in Texas, valid driver’s license, and adherence to NFPA/building and fire codes. Drug testing and background screening are required; MVR checks apply to driving roles. Location: Houston, TX, with full-time employment and company-supported training opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Fire Extinguisher experience is required
- FEL-A, FEL-B or FEL-K license in the State of Texas is required
- Understanding of NFPA and building and fire codes
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required
- MVR checks are required for all driving positions
