Job Summary
Inspect fire extinguishers, fire hoses, emergency exit lights, and kitchen hood suppression systems. Service equipment requiring maintenance and sell new products while ensuring customers understand the systems on their property. Interact professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires a valid driver's license, 1 year of mechanical experience, and the ability to lift 50 lbs and climb 12-foot ladders. The position includes a 7:00 am to 3:45 pm Monday through Friday schedule in Nashville, TN. Candidates must pass drug and background screenings and complete E-Verify.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of mechanical and customer service experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Pass drug and background screenings
- Valid driver's license
- Able to safely and effectively use general hand and power tools
- Must be able to use a cell phone and cell phone app effectively
- Lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs
- Push and pull more significant than 75 lbs
- Climb a ladder reaching a height of at least 12 feet and use a man lift to perform service
- Exposure to outside weather conditions, temperature changes, and loud noise
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to talk or hear
- Must complete the I-9 Verification form within three days of hire
- Background checks with criminal courts, state and county repositories of criminal records, and the Department of Motor Vehicles
- Tests for Evidence of Substance Abuse through a urinalysis test
Desired Qualifications
