Job Summary
Inspect, service, and recharge fire extinguishers to NFPA 10 standards; handle dry chemical powder recovery and refilling; perform basic weight, pressure, and component checks; identify damage, corrosion, or compliance issues; operate recharge equipment safely and keep the work area clean; tag, label, and document serviced extinguishers; follow safety procedures and assist shop or field teams as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid drivers license
- Acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Willingness to work occasional OT and travel overnight
- Obtain Utah Fire Extinguisher License within 60 days of hire
- Comfortable working independently
- Strong communication in English (written and verbal)
