Job Summary
Responsible for inspecting, testing, servicing, and/or installing portable fire extinguishers, kitchen suppression systems, emergency lights, exit lights, range hoods and other applicable fire safety equipment and systems in accordance with applicable fire codes. Maintain proper risk management and safety procedures on all job sites per company policies. Eager to develop professionally with opportunities for training and advancement. Must have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to meet deadlines. Must pass various background checks and hold a valid State Driver's License for use of the company vehicle. Desirable: current AFPLB license for Portable Extinguishers and Fixed Systems. Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience as a fire extinguisher or range hood technician
- Knowledge of fire protection industry including fire extinguisher and/or pre-engineered fire protection systems – including range hood systems
- Ability to pass various background checks
- Reliable transportation with valid State Driver's License and acceptable driving record for use of company vehicle
