Job Summary
Inspect, test, service, and install portable fire extinguishers, kitchen suppression systems, emergency lights, exit lights, range hoods, and other fire safety equipment in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Monitor and enforce safety policies and procedures on all job sites while maintaining proper risk management standards. Utilize company vehicle and fuel card for applicable positions, ensuring reliable transportation with a valid driver's license. One to two years of experience as a fire extinguisher or range hood technician required, with knowledge of fire protection and pre-engineered systems. NICET certification test reimbursement and opportunities for training and advancement available.
Required Qualifications
- One to two (1-2) years of experience as a fire extinguisher or range hood technician.
- Possess knowledge within the fire protection industry to include specialized experience in fire extinguisher and/or pre-engineered fire protection systems – including range hood systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Reliable transportation, valid State Driver's License with acceptable driving record for use of company vehicle.
- Ability to pass various background checks.
Desired Qualifications
- Current license from AFPLB for Portable Extinguishers and Fixed Systems.
