Job Summary
Inspect, repair, refill, and replace fire extinguishers, hydrants, and hose reels while maintaining equipment inventory and coordinating record-keeping for all fire safety assets. Conduct regular and random patrols of business perimeters and respond to incidents or critical situations with calm, problem-solving approaches. Perform Confined Space and High Angle Rescue standby duties as needed. Drive a vehicle to various client sites and work independently in diverse environments including outdoors, parking structures, and offices. Maintain punctuality and follow all site-specific safety and security procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license for at least 1 year
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Ability to lift objects weighing 65 pounds or less without mechanical assist devices
- Computer literacy to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- Ability to write effective and concise reports in neat, legible handwriting is required
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required
- Ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization, including with clients, while functioning as a team player required
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation

Desired Qualifications
- Prior fire maintenance work is beneficial but not required
- Some mechanical aptitude or ability would be beneficial
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Energetic and focused personality with a demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines
- Ability to concentrate on details, work under deadline pressures, apply sound logic and judgment, and prioritize tasks and responsibilities
- Must be able to focus and multi-task in busy environment, with the ability to successfully handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner
