Job Summary
Lead fire engineering and external wall fire risk assessments while managing compliance and technical outputs across complex built environment projects. Conduct site inspections and advisory work to support client relationships, ensuring adherence to UK legislation and standards such as ADB, BS 9999, and BS 7974. Prepare and review technical reports, cross-collaborate with disciplines including Quantum and Delay, and mentor the wider team toward chartership. This role combines project leadership and team development within a global service provider's EMEA fire safety sector.
Required Qualifications
- Strong consultancy experience within fire safety
- Knowledge of UK legislation
- Experience leading projects and supporting team development
- Experience in fire engineering consultancy
- Degree in engineering or related field
- Chartered or working toward chartership
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- A degree in Fire Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related discipline
- Strong consultancy experience
- Experience leading fire strategy projects
- Strong knowledge of ADB, BS 9999 and BS 7974
- Experience with residential and commercial schemes
Desired Qualifications
- Chartered status or working towards it would be advantageous
- Testifying experience or working towards this level
