Job Summary
Provide expert fire safety guidance to architectural teams on fire safety engineering and ADB solutions to meet Part B of the Building Regulations; lead the inspection and audit of both new and existing buildings, assess active and passive fire safety measures, and produce comprehensive findings and recommendations reports. Manage the full project lifecycle including producing fire strategies (AD B, BS 9991 & BS 9999), CFD modelling, Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs, FRAEWs), and acting as a BAFE validator. Support consultancy work for DLUHC, assist in building safety cases, and provide training to clients and residents. The role carries commercial and project management responsibilities, including fee proposals, project financial management, and attending design team meetings, with involvement in the ongoing development of PRP’s fire safety service offering.
