Job Summary
Fire Alarm, Access Control, and CCTV system installation, programming, troubleshooting, configuration, and commissioning at customer sites; focus on networked fire alarm systems while handling panel repair/reprogramming, device replacement, and low voltage troubleshooting. Read blueprints, submittals, and manuals; supervise installation to meet specifications; complete required documentation; participate in certification courses and maintain safety/compliance. Requires 3+ years in low voltage systems, ability to lift 50-70 lbs, and willingness to travel overnight; HS diploma and valid driver’s license required; NICET II preferred with potential for first-year attainment.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years documented experience in low voltage electrical systems, including Fire/Life Safety Systems, Access Control, CCTV, and Security Systems
- Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and operational/product manuals
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs
- Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions (e.g., ladders, scaffolding, high lift) and travel overnight
- Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements
- Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug test
- Ability to obtain and retain any licenses required by National, State and Local codes
