Fire Damper Testing Engineer

Conduct thorough inspections and physical drop-testing of fire dampers across schools, universities, offices, prisons, and healthcare environments. Methodically survey ventilation ductwork to locate and map dampers where pre-existing records are absent, working safely at height and in confined spaces. Act as the primary on-site contact, coordinating directly with estates managers and department heads to secure access to restricted areas. Manage daily project pace, aiming for 40–50 dampers tested per day, while completing site progress sheets and logging all works via the BORIS app. Capture high-quality before and after drop-test photos to generate compliant client reports. Full UK Driving Licence, Enhanced DBS, and CSCS card required.
