Job Summary
Join SSD Alarm as a Fire and Security Systems Technician, responsible for the installation and service of security and fire alarms, access control, and CCTV systems. Requires strong interpersonal, writing, and communication skills, and a minimum of three years’ experience in related fields. Candidates must demonstrate effective problem resolution skills, detail orientation, and the ability to organize workload efficiently. Successful technicians will maintain accurate records, foster lasting client relationships, and stay current with technology in the industry.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three years’ experience in Security, Fire Alarms, CCTV, and Access Control Systems
- Effective problem resolution skills and detail oriented
- Possess a valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company requirements
- Reading and Interpreting Construction Plans
- Knowledge of applicable local, state and federal codes required
- Knowledge of Fire Alarm, Burglar Alarm, CCTV, and Access Control
- Proficient in MS Office along with some Networking experience
Desired Qualifications
- Fire Alarm - California Journeyman Fire Card
- Reg 4 Certification
- NICET Certification
- Notifier Experience
- Lenel and/or S2 Experience
- SQL Database Administration
- Fire/Life Safety Card
