Job Summary

Respond to scheduled and emergency service requests by performing comprehensive troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing system equipment. Program fire alarm systems and low voltage systems such as nurse call systems while resolving problems through research of multiple alternatives. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and operational product manuals to maintain effective communication with contractors and building owners. Provide on-site assistance to customers, addressing their questions and concerns promptly, and keep management informed of project status. Complete all necessary company paperwork and participate in the on-call program. This role requires a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and proficiency in industry-related equipment including MS Office. Notifier certification and expertise with Kidde, Gamewell, or Edwards/EST systems are highly desirable. Candidates must demonstrate reliable attendance and strong communication skills.

Desired Qualifications

  • Expertise in programming Kidde, Gamewell or Notifier
  • Notifier Certification a plus
  • Certification and experience with Notifier, Gamewell, Kidde, Edwards/EST, FireLite or other fire life safety related systems and manufactures
  • NICET I or equivalent and or Industry related certifications to the role as a fire alarm technician
  • The ability to confidently troubleshoot and service existing systems
