Fire Alarm Technician

Job Summary
Install, program, repair, test, and inspect fire detection and signaling systems; provide exceptional service to internal and external customers; schedule inspections; document inspections for records and authorities; communicate discrepancies and required repairs to customers; follow up to ensure repairs are performed; market EFI services to customers; train Technician Trainees; pursue ongoing education and certifications as required; adhere to company standards and procedures including safety and drug-free policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of experience in fire protection systems
- Minimum Level II NICET certification in desired field required (or ability to obtain Level II within first 18 months) OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of fire protection codes and standards
- Excellent customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Able to lift/move up to 100 pounds, work at height, and in confined spaces
