Job Summary
Lead and supervise the installation of alarm systems, overseeing panel layout, wiring, and equipment application in commercial and multi-family settings. Perform maintenance and replacement on system components while ensuring all work adheres to relevant codes and WAFS standards. Complete work orders, including pulling wire overhead and carrying materials, and proactively notify management of site issues. Submit accurate reports, time sheets, and production documentation while enforcing safety protocols and managing tool care. Develop relationships with general contractors and address employee performance concerns in collaboration with the superintendent.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of knowledge and hands-on experience in installing fire alarm systems
- reading blueprints
- conducting system testing
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- maintain a clean driving record
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test
- background check
- 10-year employment verification
Desired Qualifications
- completion of NICET certification
- OSHA 30-hour course
- lift certification
- Proficient in using computer software, including company-specific programs
- Strong leadership abilities and experience supervising apprentices
