Job Summary
Responsibilities include servicing, inspecting and testing fire alarm systems to the prescribed standards; performing on-site emergency troubleshooting; programming and repairs of our customers' fire alarm systems; identifying code and non-conformance issues; and preparing accurate and timely service tickets and reports. Duties may also include the installation of fire alarm systems.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with low-voltage electrical systems, including fire alarm systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, submittals, operational procedures, and product manuals.
- Knowledge of test equipment, including multimeters, digital analyzers, and commissioning devices.
- Capable of performing physical labor, including lifting and carrying equipment and tools weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in unusual or confined spaces, including climbing ladders, working on scaffolding, operating lifts up to 40 feet, accessing ducts, crawl spaces, and above-ceiling areas.
- Flexibility to work weekends and extended hours as needed to meet customer requirements.
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service with strong communication skills and a positive, professional attitude.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels to ensure timely response to customer needs.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines at all times.
- Additional Requirements LEA, EL06, NICET II certifications preferred or the ability to obtain within 90 day
- Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company standards.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
