Job Summary
Inspect, test, service, and repair fire alarm systems, extinguishers, and fire protection equipment in commercial and industrial settings. Perform preventive maintenance, identify system deficiencies, and troubleshoot malfunctions while installing new equipment and verifying proper operation. Complete inspection reports, service records, and compliance documentation ensuring adherence to Texas Department of Insurance requirements and NFPA codes. Maintain company tools, vehicles, and safety equipment while following OSHA procedures. This full-time role reports to Priscilla Escobedo in the Rio Grande Valley.
Required Qualifications
- Must have an active Fire License
- Must have Valid Fire Technicial License
- 3 Plus Years of Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of NFPA Codes, fire protection systems, and testing procedures
- Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals
- Strong troubleshooting, communication and service skills
- Ability to lift up to 20-30 pounds and work on ladders, rooftops, and in confined spaces
- Must be able to follow all OSHA safety requirements and company safety procedures
- Must be able to participate in ongoing training to maintain required licenses and certifications
- Must be able to ensure all work complies with Texas Department of Insurance requirements, codes
