Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate fire alarm installation crews; read and interpret blueprints, risers, schematics, and technical documents; ensure compliance with NFPA, state, and local fire codes; conduct site walks, inspections, and project assessments; train and mentor technicians on installation standards and safety; collaborate with PMs, engineers, and other trades; maintain accurate project documentation and material tracking; troubleshoot, test, and commission fire alarm systems.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in fire alarm installation/service
- 5+ years leading or supervising FA technicians
- Strong knowledge of Potter, Silent Knight, and Fire-Lite systems
- Familiarity with NFPA 72 and related fire codes
- Ability to read and interpret FA drawings and technical documents
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Valid driver's license
- NICET or Texas Fire Life Safety certification preferred
- Experience with Procore is a plus
