Job Summary
Fire Alarm Service Technician performs maintenance and service of fire alarm systems independently, diagnoses and troubleshoots system issues, completes standard service calls, interprets drawings and manuals, uses hand tools and testing equipment, ensures compliance with codes and standards, documents service reports, communicates with customers and team members, identifies deficiencies and recommends corrective actions, maintains a safe job-site environment, provides guidance to entry-level technicians, and travels to job sites across commercial, industrial, and construction environments. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years in fire alarm systems; driving requires a clean record and active license. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in fire alarm systems within the industry
- Strong understanding of fire alarm systems, components, and troubleshooting methods
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- If Driving Role: Must have a clean driving record and active driver’s license
