Job Summary
Conduct routine inspections and testing of fire alarm and security systems, including smoke detectors, motion sensors, and alarm panels. Replace batteries and perform preventative maintenance while troubleshooting minor system issues and identifying potential concerns. Complete accurate digital inspection reports using Sedona and BuildingReports software platforms and communicate professionally with customers on-site. Maintain organized records and follow inspection procedures carefully to ensure full operational compliance. Coordinate with internal service and support teams as needed. This stable, on-site role in Falmouth, ME, offers a Monday–Friday schedule with opportunities for ongoing training and certification growth within a family-owned company dedicated to protecting homes and businesses across Northern New England.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to work independently in the field
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in fire alarm, low voltage, electrical, or security systems work preferred
- NICET or IPSI certification is a plus
- Willingness to obtain industry certifications if not already certified
