Job Summary
Fire Alarm Installer responsible for installing fire alarm systems including wire pulls, conduit, device mounting, and control panel setup; assist with programming, testing, and commissioning; read blueprints and riser diagrams; support light service and troubleshooting; ensure code compliance; document work and maintain jobsite records; communicate with leads, project managers, and customers; require 2+ years in fire alarm or low voltage installation; NICET or state license a plus; valid driver’s license; ability to lift 70+ lbs; willing to learn; relocation assistance available (if applicable).
Required Qualifications
- 2+ year of experience in fire alarm or low voltage system installation
- Some experience with system troubleshooting or small service calls preferred
- Familiarity with NFPA 72 and general fire alarm codes is a plus
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 70+ lbs, work on ladders/lifts, and in various environments
- NICET certification or state license a plus (but not required at hire)
