Independently install fire alarm systems per plans and codes, perform testing and basic troubleshooting, read blueprints/schematics, coordinate with team and stakeholders, maintain documentation, train-entry level technicians, travel to job sites, and ensure safety/compliance; role pays $30-$40/hr depending on experience and includes benefits and company vehicle where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3+ years of experience in the fire and life safety industry as an apprentice or technician
- Demonstrated ability to work independently on standard installation jobs
- Strong understanding of fire alarm systems, installation practices, and applicable codes
- NICET Level I or above preferred
- Must have a clean driving record and active driver’s license (if driving is required)
