Job Summary
Fire Alarm Inspector responsible for inspecting and testing fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes. Duties include performing regular inspections, interpreting blueprints and specifications, identifying malfunctions, writing detailed reports, coordinating with service technicians, staying current with safety regulations, educating clients on fire safety, delivering excellent customer service, maintaining inspection records, and adhering to safety procedures. Requires proficiency with inspection tools and an Apple iPad, knowledge of NFPA 72 and NFPA 70, and relevant licenses/certifications; minimum two years of related experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum two years previous experience in fire alarm inspection, installation, electrical installation, or a similar role.
- Possession of relevant licenses and certifications, as required by local or state regulations.
