Fire Alarm Helper

This entry-level trainee role assists with routine inspection, testing, and preventative maintenance of fire alarm systems under direct supervision, supports diagnosis and troubleshooting, and may install and test systems under the guidance of a Fire Alarm Technician. The position emphasizes learning a trade through apprenticeship programs, with mentorship from experienced fire protection professionals. Candidates should have basic electrical skills or construction-related experience, the ability to follow verbal instructions, work independently under moderate supervision, collaborate in a team, read labels and signage, perform basic math, demonstrate customer service orientation, and maintain a valid driver’s license with the ability to obtain any required licenses per local codes.
