Fire Alarm Designer

Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• •High School Diploma or equivalent
• •Bachelor's Degree in related field
• •NICET Certification in Fire Alarm Systems (Level II minimum)
• •Experience with Notifier, Siemens, Firelite, or Silent Knight fire alarm systems
• •AutoCAD experience
• •Possess professional business communications skills, both written and oral
• •Must have good communication and organization skills
• •Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, manufacturers manuals, and codes to produce designs and submittals to be reviewed by local officials
• •Remain updated on advancements in fire alarm technology and regulations to ensure compliance and optimal system performance
• •Must be able to develop and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and accomplish tasks in a timely and safe manner

• •Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• •Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands or arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• •Occasionally required to lift and/or move heavy objects
