Job Summary
Fire Alarm Designer responsible for creating fire alarm design drawings, tracking submittals and approvals, and supporting the sales team, technicians, CAD drafters, and project managers throughout the delivery cycle. Must understand customer needs and be able to adapt to changes in requirements. Requires two years of fire alarm design experience with NICET certification preferred; strong CAD drafting skills; familiarity with electronic building systems; effective written and oral communication; and meticulous attention to detail. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of fire alarm design
- NICET certification is preferred
- basic understanding of how mechanical systems interface with Fire Alarm
- Demonstrated ability in drafting/CAD and computer skills
- Knowledge of multiple electronic building systems a plus
- Effective written and oral communications
- Attention to detail
