Job Summary
The Fire Alarm Designer role involves performing on-site surveys, preparing fire alarm drawings using AutoCAD, designing and coordinating projects, and assisting field personnel with system and code applications. Candidates should have a high school diploma, relevant experience, and knowledge of industry codes.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Fire Alarm system design and Auto CAD
- Strong knowledge of industry codes such as IFC, NFPA, IBC, and NEC
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, electrical and mechanical drawings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
