Job Summary
Lead the Fire Alarm Division as Department Manager, driving operational excellence, service quality, and growth. Oversee inspections, repairs, and service work to NFPA 72 standards, manage P&L, optimize technician scheduling, ensure accurate documentation and regulatory compliance, mentor technicians, and collaborate with the sales team to expand the division’s footprint while maintaining high customer satisfaction. Responsible for project oversight including installation, retrofit, inspection, and service projects, coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring timely, quality deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in the fire alarm industry.
- Minimum 3–5 years of leadership or management experience overseeing fire alarm operations.
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm installation, inspection, testing, service, and maintenance practices.
- Thorough understanding of NFPA 72, NEC, OSHA, and applicable New York regulations.
- Proven experience managing budgets, financial performance, and project profitability.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and industry software platforms.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
