Fire Alarm and Security Foreman

Job Summary
Foreman to lead onsite installation activities related to conduit, wiring, and device installation for low‐voltage systems, with emphasis on fire alarm, access control, and video surveillance. Coordinate field activities across multiple trades, interpret blueprints, lead field crews, ensure availability of equipment/materials, mentor technicians, and maintain IFSS quality standards. Strong communication with internal teams and customers; identify field changes and support change orders; maintain as‐built documentation and stay current on industry developments and technologies.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of demonstrated work experience in fire alarm, access control, CCTV, or low‐voltage system installation, including hands‐on field work and lead‐level responsibilities
- Demonstrated experience overseeing onsite tasks, coordinating daily work activities, and providing direction to field teams
- Strong knowledge of NEC and NFPA requirements applicable to installation work
- Ability to interpret blueprints, identify field changes, and support change order development
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal teams
- Ability to train, mentor, and develop field personnel to meet IFSS technical and quality expectations
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety, and professionalism
- NICET or other relevant technical certification preferred
- Ability to meet company driving eligibility requirements, including a valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record
