Job Summary
Foreman to lead onsite installation activities for low-voltage systems (fire alarm, access control, CCTV), coordinate field efforts across trades, mentor technicians, interpret blueprints, manage change orders, ensure quality and safety, and maintain field documentation. Requires 3–5 years in fire alarm/low-voltage installation, NEC/NFPA knowledge, strong communication, and leadership capabilities; NICET preferred; travel may be required.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of demonstrated work experience in fire alarm, access control, CCTV, or low‐voltage system installation, including hands‐on field work and lead‐level responsibilities
- Demonstrated experience overseeing onsite tasks, coordinating daily work activities, and providing direction to field teams
- Strong knowledge of NEC and NFPA requirements applicable to installation work
- Ability to interpret blueprints, identify field changes, and support change order development
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal teams
- Ability to train, mentor, and develop field personnel to meet IFSS technical and quality expectations
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety, and professionalism
- NICET or other relevant technical certification preferred
- Ability to meet company driving eligibility requirements, including a valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record
