Job Summary
FircoSoft Application Developer – Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within Sanctions Screening Technology. You will build and own enterprise-scale FircoSoft platforms, design high-throughput, low-latency sanctions screening workflows, and provide end-to-end ownership of FircoSoft-based solutions. Responsibilities include creating secure production code, enforcing architecture and design standards, analyzing production behavior for performance improvements, collaborating with product/compliance/operations teams to meet regulatory requirements, and driving microservices/messaging-based designs. Experience with Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, PL/SQL; Kubernetes and AWS concepts; and FircoSoft components (Continuity V6, Screening Preparation, FOL, Firco Utilities) is required. The role emphasizes production-grade engineering, architecture ownership, and platform evolution for sanctions screening at scale, in a large corporate environment.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on FircoSoft software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
- 3+ years of proven experience delivering and supporting FircoSoft solutions in large, complex, enterprise environments
- Proficient in coding in one or more languages (Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, PL/SQL)
- Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
- Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle, production support, and operational resilience
- Knowledge of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- Experience with Kubernetes and AWS concepts
- Experience with FircoSoft concepts (Continuity V6, Screening Preparation, FOL, Firco Utilities)
- Development and configuration using Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, PL/SQL, Microservices and messaging technologies
