Job Summary
Manager, Tech Consulting position focusing on Finance and Accounting technology with EY's Tech Consulting Finance & Accounting Technology team. Responsible for supporting client Finance Automation, Controls & Governance via tech-enabled implementations (e.g., BlackLine, Oracle ARCS, Trintech, OneStream RCM, Tagetik). Lead projects, oversee teams, drive process redesign and continuous improvement, translate business requirements into technical specifications, maintain client relationships, and engage in travel as needed. Role emphasizes transforming manual processes into automated, value-driven activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and delivering high-quality results through SDLC practices in a hybrid client-facing delivery model.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 4 to 6 years of relevant experience
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in supporting Finance Management processes including Record to Report (R2R), Order to Cash (OTC), Financial Close, Journals processing, Intercompany Processing, Consolidations and Elimination, Variance/Analysis
- 3+ years of system implementation experience (requirements gathering through deployment) in BlackLine, Trintech, Oracle ARCS/FCCS/FCM, OneStream, Frontier, Tagetik, TLM or related tools
- Experience in analyzing process challenges and implementing operational process improvement
- Ability to translate technical/accounting requirements into improvements and solutions
- Client-facing experience leading meetings, delivering work products, and coaching junior team members
- Support for client proposals, PoCs, and RFPs
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50-70%
- Negotiation, critical thinking, and emotional agility
- Graduate degree in related field (preferred)
- Experience in corporate consolidations and intercompany reconciliation (preferred)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams (preferred)
- Proactive problem-solving and decision-making (preferred)
- Experience with automation and governance goals (preferred)
