FinOps Specialist

Job Summary
Implement FinOps strategies and policies aligned with group standards while monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing cloud service costs across multiple platforms. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Architecture teams to identify optimization opportunities without compromising service quality, and assist in product financial processes and recharging mechanisms. Produce regular reporting on cloud expenditures, trends, and anomalies to promote visibility and financial accountability, utilizing tools and automations for cost tracking. Transform complex data analysis into actionable recommendations and presentations. Requires solid FinOps experience, proficiency in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud billing frameworks, and advanced Excel/Power BI skills. Based in a hybrid model in Lisbon.
Required Qualifications
- solid experience in FinOps, cloud cost management, or cloud financial analysis
- worked with cloud operations and/or financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization
- knowledgeable about AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud, including their billing frameworks
- experience in IT Asset Management or Cost Accounting
- strong financial and analytical abilities
- proficient in Microsoft Office, Power BI, and have advanced Excel skills
- experience with IBM Cloudability
- educational background in Computer Science and Financials
- certifications in AWS, Microsoft Azure, or FinOps Foundation
- capable of communicating across technical, financial, and product stakeholders
- Fluent level of English language
- Able to work in hybrid model in Lisbon
