Job Summary
Own and execute daily reconciliations for Xendit's financial operations, ensuring all funds move as expected across products and regions without exposure to incorrect transactions. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve unreconciled transactions by identifying root causes with product, partnerships, and finance teams. Set up reconciliation processes for new products and markets as they launch, working with product teams to automate the process and eliminate gaps. Drive high-impact oversight over fund movements while maintaining best-in-class standards as the organization expands.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of Management, Accounting, Finance, or a similar course
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in a start-up/fast paced environment or within the payments, fintech, or financial services spaces
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Detail oriented
- Can see patterns in data/information or notice when something is amiss
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in or dealing with banks or large financial institutions
- Specialized work on finance, payment and reconciliations
- Initiative to continually ask questions and look for answers
- Discerning ability to prioritize workload in line with tight deadlines and work effectively under pressure
- Team player and communicate well with internal and external stakeholders
- Great ownership mentality and have proven you can push towards a goal by yourself
- Pick up new skills quickly using a combination of self-exploration and relationship building
- Creative thinker who considers problems from a customer perspective while being pragmatic and solutions oriented when solving them
- Fun in learning and always seeking to improve
- Working experience on reconciliation tools and SQL
