Job Summary
Lead and manage corporate-wide cloud optimization efforts through spend pattern analysis, waste reduction protocols, and utilization reporting. Identify and drive execution of cost-saving initiatives across AWS and Azure platforms while developing an enterprise-wide AI optimization program. Establish roadmaps aligned with organizational targets, track realized savings, and provide financial management support including forecasting, budgeting, and chargeback strategy. Enhance spend transparency by building allocation methodologies and fostering strong relationships with global teams and senior leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of combined experience in Cloud FinOps, Computer Science, and Finance roles within a Fortune 500/Fortune Global 500 company
- Certified Cloud Practitioner (or equivalent)
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (computer science, computer engineering, finance, accounting)
- Experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms
- Experience presenting to executive leadership
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to foster strong relationships across client organizations, including senior managers and key decision-makers in a large firm with the ability to build strong working relationships with end users
- Knowledge of cloud service costs, including experience building allocation methodologies for appropriate distribution of shared services
Desired Qualifications
- Databricks and Snowflake optimization experience preferred
- Experience working with Power BI and/or cloud financial analytics/reporting tools
- A proactive, adaptable professional with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Ability to multi-task and successfully manage simultaneous priorities
