Finnish Distance Learning Associate Language Instructor

Provide virtual Finnish distance-learning instruction to improve foreign language proficiency (Listening, Reading, Speaking) across DLPT/OPI measures, plus instruction on regional culture using blended-learning methods. Develop and deliver lessons aligned to ILR levels 0+–3, assess and provide feedback on assignments, and maintain a professional virtual classroom. Collaborate with managers and coordinators to address curriculum gaps. Must be a US citizen with near-native language ability (ILR 3/3/3 or equivalent), have virtual-instruction experience, cultural knowledge of the region, the ability to tailor blended lessons, and access to required hardware and high-speed internet. English qualifications include ILR 2+ or higher or approved English tests (TOEFL, ECL, or OPI). Target-language qualifications require ILR 2+ or ACTFL Advanced-High or higher, demonstrated via DLIFLC/OEI/ACTFL tools. Desired qualifications include experience with online platforms (CL-150, Canvas, Moodle, Adobe Connect) and experience developing adult learners’ listening/reading/speaking skills. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
