Job Summary
Review and manage assigned production orders, tracking progress through completion. Trim large-format graphics and printed materials accurately using knives, rulers, and cutting tools. Apply transfer tape and masking to plotted vinyl, then perform light assembly of sign components including mounting to substrates. Package completed signs securely for delivery and record job completion in the ERP system while uploading required photos. Maintain a clean workstation, follow safety procedures, and assist Quality Control by flagging defects before final shipment. Communicate job status and material needs with Production Control. Remain flexible with hours and willing to work overtime during peak production periods. Support the overall production team with additional tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in a sign shop or similar production environment
- Comfortable working with hand tools, knives, rulers, and adhesives
- Able to read and follow production orders, drawings, or templates
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Basic computer skills to complete ERP entries and upload images
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
- Remain flexible with hours and willing to work overtime during peak production periods
