Job Summary
Oversee final inspection and packaging of products while ensuring all finished goods meet quality standards and specifications. Manage and train a team of finishing technicians, optimizing workflow and production schedules for the finishing department. Troubleshoot issues related to product finishing or packaging and maintain accurate records of production output and quality control. Implement and enforce safety protocols within the finishing area. This role supports multiple partner companies in Cadillac, MI, where long-term fit and alignment with organizational goals are prioritized.
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher
- Experience with automated finishing equipment and robotics
- Proficiency in a second language, particularly Spanish or Mandarin
- Demonstrated ability to train and mentor junior supervisors or team leads
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for production planning and control
